With the completion of season 3, I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to our talented and dedicated coaching staff. Our students have benefited immensely from your guidance, your expertise and your relentless support. Thank you for being the best coaches possible in order to bring out the best in our students.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Grade 6 students who are now leaving TK. This group of boys and girls have been particularly strong in all sports throughout their years at TK. They have proven to be wonderful role models for the younger students and they displayed traits of maturity that will stand them in very good stead for their future sporting endeavours. We’re very proud of what you have achieved at TK and best wishes for your continued sporting journey.

8U FOOTBALL Coaches: ESPZEN Dickson, Dennis, Ms. Andrea Shum and Ms. Nadine Bailey

Our very enthusiastic teams, CIS Red and CIS Black, benefited from the 8U Football format of friendly matches during their season to develop players and promote position rotation. Our home matches were particularly well represented with parents actively cheering for our students at all home games. All students received a participation medal for their season and will no doubt progress onto our 9U teams next year.

11U NETBALL Coach: Ms. Louise Pike

After a season of friendly matches, our 11U Netball team was promoted from Division 3 to Division 2 for the finals carnival, a reflection of their dedication and steady improvement throughout the season. It was such a pleasure to coach our girls and they showed maturity beyond their years with their sportsmanship and tenacity. Thank you also to our very supportive parents and grandparents.

Well done to all players for their consistency and commitment during the season!

12U BOYS FOOTBALL Coach: Ms. Natalie Frank

This close knit group of Grade 5 and 6 boys quickly showed their opposition that lunch time football at TK is a very important part of the team’s bonding. They trained hard in their morning sessions and, guided by our wonderful Ms. Frank, finished the season with two wins, one draw and one loss. These are very credible statistics in a tough division.

Well done on a brilliant season!

8U - 12U TRACK & FIELD Coaches: Ms. Sarah Cole, Ms. Julie Serrao, Ms. Louise Pike, Ms. Melissa Costa and Mr. Rick Dennis

We had an amazing number of students for our Track & Field team this year. Our training was held at Kallang Practice Track and also at our own field, where students trialled for sprinting, middle distance, long jump, ball push, ball throw, shot put. For the ACSIS Championships, a team was selected based on qualifying results and all our students represented CIS TK with pride and integrity.

Special mention must be made of the following students for excelling in their events:

• Gold Medal - Lucy van Selm - 8U Ball Push - 6.63m
• Silver Medal - Maya Sharma - 8U Long Jump - 2.60m
• Bronze Medal - Ava Patterson - 10U Long Jump - 3.18m
• Bronze Medal - Isabel Pelekani - 8U Ball Push - 5.90m
