On 24 September, Lakeside Grade 6 students Susannah and Jemima Shortell represented CIS at the annual Singapore Inter-Schools Diving Championships held at the Toa Payoh Swimming Complex. They competed with divers from local and international schools. They each performed six dives from the 1m springboard including forward, back and inward dives, in straight, tuck or pike position, some with somersaults and twists, before a panel of six judges. Jemima won Silver and Susannah placed 4th in the 12&U girls Primary category. Congratulations to Shortell twins on their amazing achievements!
