With Season 2 already underway, the opportunity has arisen to reflect on the season that has been. Season 1 saw 11 sports being represented at CIS, and we took out five divisions with gold in 16U boys and girls football, 19U girls football, 19U girls volleyball and 14U boys rugby. This was an incredible achievement!

Our 16U girls placed second overall in the Secondary School Cross Country Championships, racing against the top runners in Singapore, and our 11U tennis team were awarded silver for their fantastic achievements. Last but definitely not least, we took away bronze in 14U girls badminton and our 19U boys placed third in the top league in the ACSIS competition. Husky pride at its finest!

Can I congratulate all teams on their participation, as individuals and as a team, as well as their fighting spirit and commendable sportsmanship when representing CIS. A HUGE shout out to our dedicated, passionate coaches, student coaches and team managers who gave up many hours to coach and coordinate teams. Finally, the coordination of sporting schedules, practices and games (to name a few) would not run so smoothly without the endless energy of my sports administrator, Sherryn Monaghan who deserves a gold medal herself for the dedication she puts into her work.

Thank you for making CIS so proud of you and here’s looking forward to Season 2.
