The haze didn't stop U16/U19 Girls Soccer teams as they took on every chance to practice and play. They kicked off the 2015 season with most of their key players returning to play and kept their spirits high regardless of frequent haze induced cancellations.

In their first game against NPS, our Huskies battled hard and really moved the ball well - getting stronger and cooperating more seamlessly as the game progressed. Despite the rain that made playing football very difficult, Huskies ruled the field with a sure victory of 7-0.

The second game turned out to be much more competitive as Nexus proved a strong opponent. The Huskies fought their way through the elements using impressive offence and strong defence to ultimately win the game by 4-3. A great finish to an exciting game!

It is a shame that Season 1 was cut short due to the haze. With the dedication of coaches Sarich and Boon, and the passion and determination of the U16/U19 Girls, they could have gone for the gold! Well done girls!
