Starting with the Bangkok Gymnastics (Moose Game) Invitational Meet on 2 and 3 April, Geethan made CIS proud by winning gold in all six routines that he performed within the MAG/NDP (Men's Artistic Gymnastics National Program) Level 2. This stunning achievement meant he was placed second in the overall standings, from a total of 36 international participants.

Geethan then went on to create a precedent by being the first competitor for his club in his age range to compete in the MAG/NDP Level 3 category for his club, Alpha Gymnastics, where he won four more gold medals and two silver medals.

SAS CSA Spring Spectacular Gymnastics 2016

At the end of April, Geethan competed in the SAS CSA (Singapore American Community Sports and Activities) Spring Spectacular Gymnastics meet for 2016. Held at the Singapore American School , the event saw schools and clubs competing side by side in MAG (Men’s Artistic Gymnastics) and WAG (Women’s Artistic Gymnastics) events. Geethan represented CIS Boys Gymnastics. In a very competitive day of keen and well-prepared gymnasts. He did well, winning gold medals in the pommel horse and parallel bars events.
