The first Primary School cross country meet of the season kicked off at a UWC East, on Wednesday, 14 September. Alongside coaches Mr. Black and Mr. Scarrott, 7 students competed in what turned out to be a hugely successful and surprisingly popular first 'friendly' at Bedok Reservoir. Our athletes deserve a huge pat on the back for their competitive spirit and the way they supported one another and competitors from other international schools. For some students, this was their first race, others achieved personal best times and our youngest competitor finished in the top ten!

Congratulations to Husky athletes who participated:

U8: Brendan Vorster (11th - 6:37) top ten finish! It was an incredible success to finish in the top ten with so many runners competing!

U9: Howard Shi (49th 8:36), Chris Jiang (60th 10:41)

U10: Kabir Tiwari (74th 11:06), Geethan Samarakoon (82nd 12:02)

U11: Peter Shao (52nd 9:24), Eric Shao (73rd 10:58)

We look forward to another meet in two week's time at the same venue. Thank you to all the parents who came along to support the team. Run on!
