Congrats to CIS Taekwondo Team!

CIS took a team of 24 students to the 2016 International School Taekwondo Championships on Monday, 11 April. With 20 students from Lakeside and 4 students from TK participating at the Toa Payoh Sports Hall, team spirit was visibly high! After a snack, quick practice and team photograph, we were ready...

The team performed really well and CIS came in third overall. In addition to our team success, there were many individual performances worth celebrating. Congratulations to the following students on their medals.

Lastly, a huge thank you to our CIS parents Camille Seah and Roman Chaykun, along with Grade 11 student Samantha MacMillan for helping to coordinate the day and make sure things ran as smoothly as possible. Samantha, who has a coaching certificate in Taekwondo also helped to coach the team prior to the competition. Thank you Sam!
