After a couple of weeks out of the pool (due to haze and bad weather), Husky swimmers got back in action and took on the challenge of the ACSIS High School Swim Meet on 14 November at the Singapore American School. This meet was for swimmers aged 15-19, and students from 10 international schools in Singapore attended.

Although CIS swimmer numbers were small (we only had 6 in this age category), they were well supported by their younger teammates (11-14) in the pool. Our 11-14 year olds swum alongside them, and offered their support - showcasing their commitment to the swim team. Their results were impressive with 35 new personal best times!

Event highlights:

  • Xenia Groensedt (Gr. 10): placed 6th out of 50 swimmers in 50m freestyle, and 10th out of 43 swimmers in 100m freestyle.

  • Gabriel Asevedo (Gr. 8) - placed 10th out of 49 swimmers in 100m freestyle.

Well done CIS swimmers. Go Huskies!
