The future of learning at CIS.
At CIS, we believe that hands-on exploration in Kindergarten lays a stronger foundation for understanding than traditional rote learning. Research shows that by age 10, children who engage in play-based learning excel in creativity, intelligence, oral expression, and work habits.
We also believe that the natural environment is the ultimate classroom. That’s why CIS was the first school in Singapore to integrate the natural environment into everyday learning through our innovative programming and Outdoor Discovery Centre (ODC). You step out from your classroom and into the magical garden everyday.
In 2023, we unveiled a brand new complex featuring a dedicated wing for kindergarten children (aged 2 to 5) and a stunning 2,600 sq.m Outdoor Discovery Centre (open to kindergarten and primary aged children). This dynamic space includes glass arts studios, vibrant learning pods, music and dance studios, and even a kitchen for exciting science experiments.
Nurturing curiosity and connection at CIS
Our innovative curriculum weaves outdoor exploration into everyday learning, allowing our youngest students to discover, create, and thrive in a vibrant, nature-filled setting.
Come and meet our experienced teachers and play and learn in the magical garden for a fun morning.
Don’t forget your hat and water bottle and can do anything attitude!
